Space Ape

Sequence 02.Still003.jpg

Launched this week, Space Ape is a stage show by Andy Cannon and produced by Red Bridge Arts. It's shaping up to be a terrific piece of work, exploring space travel for a younger audience. I created the trailer (which can be found on our Vimeo page) as well as some animated stings that are peppered through the performance.

Old School

cylinders.jpg

We spent a day down in Sheffield last weekend filming something pretty special. As part of the shoot for a short documentary, we visited 'Vulcan', a company that manufactures and records wax cylinders. It was an incredible day, seeing new versions of such an old medium being created. The documentary should be completed towards the end of the year.

No More Love Songs

TKAK Web Still

The new video for 'No More Love Songs' by To Kill A King premiered today on music website 'Nothing But Hope and Passion'. Designer Stuart Lonsdale gathered together lots of old typewriters which were then smashed to pieces by Edinburgh actress Christine Koudreiko. It was brilliant fun (even if cleaning up was a royal pain). Thanks go to Edinburgh gym Room To Move for providing us with a hefty concrete floor that we could batter without consequence.

Typewriter Carnage

IMG_20171223_210046_902.jpg

We have another new music video on the way. Shot on December 23rd, it involved smashing up typewriters with a baseball bat. Just the thing to get us in the festive spirit.

The video will be out in January.

Bear Shoot

A complicated day on the 18th but great fun.  There was a big teddy bear that danced... hence the complications! The results are on the way. Picture courtesy of Claire, our choreographer.

Bears

It's been a while since I've directed a music video but there's a new one on the way. Just thought I'd share this image I took as part of the pitch. Of a teddy bear on fire. But he gets better.

The video should land in November.
